Dateline: McKenzie, TN         Funeral services for Albert Britton Wainscott is 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2018 at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. Brother Gene Price will officiate. Internment is at Tumbling Creek Cemetery, Gleason, TN. The family will receive friends Friday, April 27, 2018 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.   Mr. Wainscott, 92, a retired salesman and World War II Army Veteran, died April 24, 2018 at Tennessee State Veteran’s Home, Humboldt. He was a member of Tumbling Creek Baptist Church and VFW Post #4939. He was born in Gleason, TN on March 9, 1926 to Clarence and Georgia Lawrence Wainscott. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Joyce Hall, two brothers James Wainscott and Charles Wainscott and his step-son Scotty McCullar.   Survivors include his wife Mary Katherine Wainscott of McKenzie, daughter Debbie (Fred) Wilchek of Silver Springs, MD., step-daughter Sue Ray of Greenfield, three grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and nine step-grandchildren.
