Peggy Baker Bateman

Dateline: McKenzie, TN         Funeral services for Peggy Baker Bateman is 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 23, 2018 at First Baptist Church Trezevant. Reverend Malcolm Norton will officiate and interment is at Trezevant Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday April 22, 2018 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Monday 9:00 a.m. until service time at the First Baptist Church Trezevant.   Mrs. Bateman, 72, a retired secretary for Maddox Insurance Company and owner of Peggy’s Puppies, died Friday, April 20, 2018 at St. Thomas West, Nashville, TN. She was born in Milan, TN on October 17, 1945 to Ray and Sarah Rummage Baker. She is preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter Erin Jones.   Survivors include her husband Clyde G. Bateman of McKenzie, two daughters Melanie (John) Collins of Bowling Green, KY and Stephanie (Randy) McAlexander of Lavinia, TN and one grandson Matthew Jones.
