Dateline: Cordova,TN             Funeral services for Carolyn Grace Purvis is 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Brummitt – McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 14, 2018 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Interment is at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie.   Mrs. Purvis, 89, a self-employed custom draperies seamstress and Eastern Star member, died April 11, 2018 at her home. She was born in McKenzie on October 23, 1928, to Charles James Hart and Vida Dunlap Arnold. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Billie Purvis, daughter Dorothy Wilson and a grandchild.   Survivors include her son Wesley (Wanda) Purvis of Cordova,TN, one sister Mavis Scott of Martinsville, VA , three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
