Ruby Ward Gunter

Dateline: McKenzie, TN   A joint funeral service for Ruby Mae Ward Gunter, 76, will be held Monday, March 19 at 1:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with JC Popplewell, Alan Trull, and Ken Frye officiating.  Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 18, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Monday, March 19, 2018 from 11:00 am until service time.  Ms. Gunter, a former employee of Halls Printing Company and then later to be named Quebecor World in Dresden, TN, died Friday, March 16, 2018 at her residence.  She was born on April 24, 1941 in McKenzie, TN to Barney and Minnie Hale Trull.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband James Ward, her daughter Cindy Ward Scott, her two brothers Tommy Trull and Willie Trull, and her son Ronnie Earl Ward who died the day before she died.    Survivors include her sons James (Donna) Ward of Paris, and Steve (Doris) Ward of Henderson and five grandchildren.    Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  For more information please call (731) 352-4848 or visit www.brummittmckenziefuneralhome.com.
