Deborah "Debbie" Jean Smith

Dateline: McKenzie, TN         Funeral service for Deborah “Debbie” Jean Smith, 64, is 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. Reverends Phil Williams and Alan Trull will officiate. Interment is at Union Academy Cemetery, McKenzie, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 5:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. and Wednesday 10:00 a.m. until service time. Mrs. Smith, a Wal Mart Associate, died February 18, 2018 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was born in Huntingdon, TN on August 22, 1953, to Marvin and Jewell Jean Carter Traywick. She is a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, Henry Co., TN. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Tommy Traywick.   Survivors include her husband of fifteen years James Ed Smith of McKenzie, two daughters Julie (Brad) Cantrell of McKenzie and JoAnna (Jerry) Martin of Brownsville, a son Josh (Amanda) McDaniel of McKenzie, six grandchildren Austin Cantrell, Aaron Cantrell, Hailey McDaniel, Logan Martin, Ryan Martin and Elizabeth Martin and two great-grandchildren Parker and Kennedy.   Pallbearers who are serving are Joe Patterson, Cotton Sanders, Barry Hanley, Aaron Cantrell, Terry Traywick and Josh McDaniel.
