Marion Eugene Mallette

Dateline: Southaven, Mississippi   Services for Marion “Skeeter” Eugene Mallette, 53, will be held Monday, January 22, 2018 at 10:00 am in the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Seminary Cemetery near Pillowville located between McKenzie and Greenfield.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 22, 2018 from 3:30 pm until 6:00 pm and Monday, January 22, 2018 from 8:30 pm until service time at 10:00 am.  Mr. Mallette, an over the road truck driver for Celadon Trucking Company, died Saturday, January 13, 2018 at his residence in Southaven, Mississippi.  He was born on September 14, 1964 in Cleveland, Mississippi to Charles M. Mallette, Jr. and Jeanette Amerson Mallette.  He was preceded in death by his father and his step father Lois Carnell Shankle.    Survivors include his mother Jeanette Shankle of Southaven, MS, his sister Deborah Jean (Michael) Carroll of Southaven, MS, a half-sister Sandra Jean (Jimmy) Grissom of Madison, MS, and a half-brother Marvin (Betty) Mallette of Cleveland, MS.    Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  For more information please call (731) 352-4848 or visit www.brummittmckenziefuneralhome.com.
