Kay Crocker VanDerRoest

Dateline: Trezevant, TN        Funeral Services for Kay Crocker VanDerRoest, 71, will be Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home Trezevant. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 9, 2017 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday 9:00 a.m. – until service time. Brother Larry Strickland will officiate. Interment will be at Hopewell Cemetery, Lavinia.   Mrs. VanDerRoest died October 6, 2017 at her residence.  She retired from A. O. Smith Automotive and was a homemaker. She was born in Atwood, TN on October 13, 1945, to James William and Bonnie Lee Moore Crocker. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Larry Joe VanDerRoest, Sr, who died February 23, 2017, two brothers James Crocker and Larry Crocker and one sister Trelba Crocker.   Survivors include three sons Larry J. (Kathy) VanDerRoest of Trezevant, Billy (Anita) VanDerRoest of Trezevant and Phillip Lee White of Trezevant, one sister Barbara (Odis) Mitchell of Hackleburg, AL, eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
