Dateline: McKenzie, TN   Funeral Services for Ruth S. Johnsonius, 91, are Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. Brother Pratt Hubbard and Dr. Jon Carlock are officiating. Interment is at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 11, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. until service time.   Mrs. Johnsonius, Co- Owner of Johnsonius Sheet Metal Works and home economics teacher for McKenzie High School died September 8, 2017 at Henry County Medical Center, Paris, TN. She was born in Paducah, KY on August 31, 1926, to John E. and Roxie LaRue Skellion. She was a member of First United Presbyterian Church, USA, Carroll Co. Retired Teachers Association and Missionary Society Eula Thorne Circle. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband J.B. Johnsonius Sr., her sisters Margie Hines and Lorraine Anderson and brother John Skellion.   Survivors include two daughters Viki (George) Hatcher of San Antonio, TX, and Teri (Loyd) Ford of Calvert City, KY, two sons J.B. (Jenny) Johnsonius Jr of Paris, and John “Hoppy” (Kim) Johnsonius of McKenzie, ten grandchildren Jill (Dennis) Krabill, Natalie (David) Neubert, Heather Anne Hatcher, Jon (Desiree) Hatcher, Emily (Chris) Morrison, Jim Ford, JC.(Lacey) Johnsonius, Elizabeth (Zach) Price, Olivia Johnsonius and Katy Johnsonius and thirteen great-grandchildren C.J., Rose, Aubry, Amelia, Vivienne, Easton, Noah, Easton, Casey, Ross, Sophie, Abby and Oliver.
