  Services for Leonard Wilson Daniels, 84, will be held Sunday, October 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt – McKenzie Funeral Home with Reverend Larry Dukes officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 11:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Mr. Daniels, an employee for The State of Tennessee, TDOT, died Friday, September 30, 2016 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was born on January 22, 1932 to Boyd and Elsie Hampton Daniels. He was Baptist in faith and an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He was preceded in death by his wife Irene Batton Daniels and daughter Hope Cowan.   Survivors include three daughters Karen Hopper of Milan, Glynda (Ted) Draper of Trenton,TN and Cindi Wade of Fruitland, one son Chris (Stacy) Daniels, nine grandchildren Michael Kemp, Heather Call, Ethan (Haley) Call, Cavan Daniels, Gabrielle Cowan, Hillary Wade, Keely Wade, Airlie Daniels and Kian Daniels and five great-grandchildren Kreed Halbrook, Karrigan Wade, Evan Call, Briylea Wagner and Piper Williams .
