Nettie Lucille Lassater

  Services for Nettie Brawner Lassater, 91, will be held Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Wray Forrest officiating. Interment will follow at Blooming Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00p.m. and Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Mrs. Lassater, a homemaker, died Monday, September 26, 2016 at her residence. She was born on October 30, 1924 in McKenzie, TN to Dave Brawner and Ethel Gibson Brawner. She was a member of Caldeonia Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Brother Earlie Lassater, January 26, 2009, two sisters Ruby Nell Weaver and Geneva Robertson and two brothers Wilburn Brawner and Charles Brawner.   Survivors include a daughter Linda Moore of McKenzie, two sons Joe ( Sandra) Lassater of Ft. Myers, FL and Charles Wayne (Chung)) Lassater of McAlester, OK, one brother Bob (Rosa) Brawner, three grandchildren Scott Kissack, Mark Lassater and Matthew Lassater and five great-grandchildren .
