Betty Jo Scott

  Dateline: Trezevant, Tennessee   Services for Betty Jo Scott, 85, will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Trezevant First Baptist Church with Brother Malcolm Norton officiating.  Interment will follow at Trezevant Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 from 10:00 am until service time at the church.  Mrs. Scott a retired seamstress from Henry I. Siegel, died Monday, August 29, 2016 at Huntingdon Health and Rehab Center in Huntingdon.  She was born on October 1, 1930 in Trezevant, Tennessee to A G and Ina Simons Mullins. She was a member of the Trezevant First Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband Warren Scott who died December 30, 2003, two sisters Beatrice Crossett and Alma Hopper, a brother Ben Mullins, and a grandson Josh Walker.    Survivors include her daughter Sherrye Walker, a granddaughter Jaime Walker and three great grandchildren Macy Ward, Brylee Ramos and Lance Ramos all of Trezevant.   Pallbearers who will be serving are Gary Scott, Greg Scott, Keith Newsome, Jeremy Boyd, David Boyd, and Jim Moore.   Brummitt Funeral Home of Trezevant is in charge of arrangements.  For more information please call (731) 669-3871 or visit www.brummittmckenziefuneralhome.com.
