Sara Elizabeth Strickland

      Graveside funeral services for Sara Elizabeth Pierce Strickland will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Carroll Memorial Gardens.   Mrs. Strickland, 91, a retired factory worker, died at her residence, Monday, August 8, 2016. She was born February 20, 1925 in McKenzie, TN to Sterling and Effie Palmer McCord. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Tom Strickland, son Billy Pierce, sisters Dorothy McCord and Jean Strickland and brother James McCord.   She is survived by one son David Pierce of McKenzie, two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
