Albert Harold Akins

Dateline: Trezevant,TN   Funeral services for Albert Harold Akins will be held Friday, June 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, Trezevant. Visitation will be Thursday, June 2, 2016 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and on Friday 11:00a.m. until service time.   Mr. Akins, 79, died at Jackson Madison County General Hospital on Tuesday, May 31, 2016. He was a member of Trezevant Church of Christ and he retired from Milan Arsenal as a telephone operator. Mr. Akins was born January 19, 1937 in Trezevant, TN to John Albert and Annie Lee Baker Akins. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Patricia Ann Akins.   Mr. Akins was survived by two sons Keith Akins of Trezevant and Richard Harold Akins of McKenzie, two grandchildren Jessica (Codie) Newsome and John (Juanita) Akins and three great-grandchildren Lane Newsome, Kinsley Newsome and Emma Akins.
