Lois York

Services for Lois York, 83, will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at 2:00pm in the Cedar Avenue Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro Dewayne Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM and Wednesday, May 24, 2006 from 11:00 AM until Service Time. Mrs. York, a factory employee at several local companies, died Tuesday, May 22, 2006 at her residence. She was born on February 23, 1923 in Henry, TN to Arthur Foust and Brooksie Lowry Foust . She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Claude Houston York of 47 years. Survivors include Two sons Mark Steven York of McKenzie and Donald Ray York of Huntingdon. Two nieces Edna (Jack) Murray and Shirley Tesnair all of McKenzie, one nephew Mathery (Nell) Robinson of McKenzie. Two Great Nieces Bettie (Sam) Sanchez of Henry, TN and Ginger (Joe) Cobb of Alabama, also survived by three great nephews Tim Robinson of Jackson, TN, Danny (Janice) Robinson of Camden, TN
