Imogene Nanney White

Services for Mrs. Imogene Nanney White, 78, will be held Saturday, September 9, 2006 at 2 p.m. at McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Fred Ward officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 9, 2006 from 10 a.m. until Service Time. Mrs. White, a homemaker, died Thursday, September 7, 2006 at Baptist Hospital in Huntingdon. She was born on October 15, 1927 in Carroll County to the late Arzie and Ivy Lee Smith Abernathy. She was preceded in death by her husband- Waldon White. Survivors include two daughters- Peggy Pearson of West Palm Beach, FL and Carol Whitfield of Pascagoula, MS; six grandchildren- Thomas Pearson, Christopher Morris, Rebekah Pearson, Jenna Richards, Lori Retherford and Robin Bass; 3 great-grandchildren- Kaleigh Roy, Kristopher Morris, and Emma Kate Retherford; and many special nieces and nephews- Violet Patterson, Dennie Abernathy, Thelma Rougeou, Pat Ridley and Johnny Pryor . Memorials may be made to Chapel Hill Cemetery Fund.
