Graveside Funeral Services for Bettye “Mopsey” Hodges Bell, 88, is Friday, August 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Hopewell Cemetery, Gleason. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 18, 2022 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.at the funeral home.

Ms. Bell, died Wednesday , August 17, 2022 at AHC McKenzie of McKenzie. she was born on October 29, 1933 in Gleason to Roy and Aileen Hodges. She is a member of McKenzie First United Methodist Church and a retired garment factory worker.

She is survived by her daughter Ladona Cook Herrin of McKenzie, sisters Virginia Jeter, Janis Featherstone (Harlon) and Susan Bradberry (Thomas Allen) all of McKenzie, a brother Charles Hodges(Brooke) of Huntingdon and two grandchildren Hunter Herrin(Andra) and Hannah Klumpe (David).

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Donald Cook, and Lawrence Bell, her sisters Martha Nell Poyner, Mary Jane Higgs and Margaret Calvert and her brothers John Robert Hodges, Thomas Hodges and Roy Lee Hodges.
