Funeral services for Bobby Ray Young is Friday, March 12, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, 9:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Everett’s Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Young, age 78, died at his residence on March 10, 2021. He is a member of McKenzie Church of Christ, an Army Veteran, an engineer for Republic Doors and he worked for several years at Brown Shoe Co. in McKenzie. He was born in Chester Co. on November 12, 1942 to R.W. Young and Jessie Spencer Grantham.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty Ann Nixon Young of McKenzie, two sons Jason (Sabrina) Young of Medina and Andy (Audra) Young of Hernando, MS, a sister Brenda “Paulette” Jones of Memphis and four grandchildren  Hailey, Elena, Sarah Grace, and Lydia.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Betty Young.
