Cynthia (Cindy) Dean Ownby

A memorial service for Cynthia Dean Ownby is Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Tuesday, 1:00 p.m. until service time.

Mrs. Ownby, 71 years old, died at Jackson Madison County General Hospital, Monday, August 19, 2019. She was born April 8, 1948 in McKenzie, to Bobby and Dean Blankenship Cozart. She was a floor supervisor at Brown Shoe Company and also a data processor at McKenzie Regional Hospital.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son Terry Ownby and brother Larry Cozart.

She is survived by her husband Larry Ownby of McKenzie, three daughters Melanie Smith of McKenzie, Robin Ownby of Paris and Kim (Tim) Smith of Henry, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
