Funeral services for Dr. Harold Lee Russell, 85, is Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at McKenzie First United Methodist Church. Dr. William P. Mullins and Reverend Tricia Trull will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home, and Thursday 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the church. A Masonic Service is Thursday 1:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church. Internment is a Mt. Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie, TN. Pallbearers to serve for the service are Hunter Garrett, Mark Hollomon, Jack Elam, Jimmy Ballentine, Dennis Taylor, Robert E. Melton, Dr.Mark Smith and Dr.Tom Smith.

Dr. Russell, a retired dentist, died November 11, 2018 at his residence. He was born November 23, 1932 in McKenzie, TN to C.W. and Mary Freeman Russell. He is a member of First United Methodist Church, a Mason, elected Carroll County 2012 Business Person of the year, a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association and a member of the 7^th District Dental Society, he also served in the Tennessee National Guard.  He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Faye Marshall Russell, an infant son Charles Dwayne Russell and a brother Charles F. Russell.

He is survived by his wife Suzanne Heath Russell of McKenzie, two sons Marshall (Robin) Russell of McKenzie and Steven (Cherry) Russell of McKenzie, four grandchildren John (Jennifer) Russell, Lee (Mandi) Russell, Travis (Bethany) Russell and Elizabeth (Kody) Owen and four great-grandchildren John Alden Russell, Sumner Russell, Conner Russell and Piper Russell.
