Evelyn Faye Tucker

Services for Evelyn Faye Tucker, 91, will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Reverend Doctor Phillip Cook and Elder Edward Long officiating.  Interment will follow at Union Cemetery located on Highway 140 near Como, TN.  The family will receive friends on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 12 noon until service time.  Mrs. Tucker, a Homemaker, died Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.  She was born on June 8, 1927 in Gleason, TN

to Hughlon Allen and Georgia Jewel Brawner Morris.  She was a member of Union Primitive Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Thomas Dudley Tucker, a sister June Cook, and a brother Thomas Morris. 

Survivors include her brother Dr. Hughlon Gordon (Paula) Morris of Sharon, TN and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers who will be serving are Joe D. Woodard, Norman Woodard, Terry Woodard, Mike Morris, Billy Phelps, and Allen Morris.  Honorary pallbearers will be John Harrison, Jonathan Harrison, and Patrick Corbin.
