Mr. Gene Travis, 85 years old, died Tuesday April 16, 2024, at Forest Cove Nursing Home, Jackson. He was a mechanic for the TN State Highway Dept. McKenzie and was in the TN National Guard. He was born in Weakley Co. on March 11, 1939, to Clint and Mabel Blaylock Travis.

He is survived by his son Clay Travis of McKenzie and two grandsons Lucas Travis and Chase Travis.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Lois Jean Travis and a brother Donald Travis.
