James "Jimmy" D. Taylor

Funeral services for James “Jimmy” D. Taylor are Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Apostolic Faith Church, Bradford. Visitation is Saturday morning at the church 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Yorkville Cemetery. Brother Steve Gearin is the officiant and James Todd III, John Michael Chappell, Douglas Taylor, Wayne Dill, Tim Hutcherson and David Spikes are the pallbearers.

Mr. Taylor was born November 6, 1946, in Owensboro, KY to Darrell “D.D.” and Louise Barnett Taylor. He was a Kiln operator for Southern Clay, Paris, a member of Apostolic Faith Church, a Korean War veteran and he led Bible studies at area nursing homes.

He is survived by his of 50 years June Todd Taylor of McKenzie, sisters Elizabeth Taylor (Doug) of Puryear, Phyllis Taylor (David) of Paris and Sylvia Vinson (Sid) of Erin, and two brothers Douglas Taylor (Lisa) of Buchanan and Wayne Dill of Paris.

He is preceded in death by his mother, his father and stepmother Earline Taylor and a sister Teresa Parker.
