Services for Katie Hill Patterson, 85, will be held Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 1:30 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Jason Jackson officiating.  Interment will follow at Union Academy Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 11:00 am until service time.  Mrs. Patterson, a former factory worker at Bill Sills Sportswear in Huntingdon and Duck head in McLemoresville, died Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at AHC of McKenzie.  She was born on August 20, 1938 in Atwood, Tennessee to Albert and Rosa Oliver Wilbanks Crocker. She was a member of Union Academy Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Ollie Hill who died in 2002, and Billy Joe Patterson who died in 2018 her sisters and brothers: Lillie Pearl Newbill, Grace Wallace, Helen Newbill, Arthur Crocker and Otis Crocker . 

Survivors include her daughter and son in law Brenda and Jerry Stevens of Lexington, TN, her son and daughter in law Kevin and Carol Hill of Gleason, TN, four grandchildren Stacie Russell, Mindy Dill, Brandon Hill, Carson Hill, two great grandchildren Beau Barksdale, and Olivia Russell.
Mrs. Katie also leaves numerous nieces and nephews.
