Funeral services for Larry D. Blaylock are Thursday, August 17, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. Interment is at Caledonia Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Thursday 11:00 a.m. until service time.

Mr. Blaylock, 73 years old, died Monday, August 14, 2023, at his residence. He was the Owner of Blaylock Maytag in McKenzie. He was born in McKenzie on September 8, 1949, to Clyde and Mary Lee Nanney Blaylock.

He is survived by his wife of forty-one year’s Joan Bookout Blaylock of McKenzie, a son Allen Blaylock of Kenton, a daughter Renae (Tim) Matlock of Martin, a sister Mary Frances Bishop of Jackson, Three Grandchildren Dillon (Carianna) Matlock, Logan (Amber) Matlock and Gage Blaylock and three great- grandchildren Steely, Silas and Miles.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Debbie Bynum and Pat Adams.
