A funeral service for Linda Lane Duke is Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Saturday, 10:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Internment is at Seminary Cemetery and Brother James Smith is the officiant.

Mrs. Duke, 78 years old, died Thursday, September 26, 2019 at McKenzie Health Care. She was born August 16, 1941 in McKenzie, TN to Winford and Bernice Durrell Scarbrough Dotson. She is a retired owner/operator of Lane’s Daycare and a member of Seminary Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Peggy Turpen and brother Roger Dotson.

She is survived by her husband John Duke of McKenzie, two sons Mike Lane of Trezevant, Greg (Amy) Lane of Nashville, step-son Stacy Duke of Clarksville, step daughter Cindy Jarrett of McKenzie, four grandchildren Madison Lane, Tyler Lane, Kori Lane and Nick Simpson.
