Funeral Services for Marie DePriest Marshall are Monday, January 10, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Hopewell Cemetery, Lavinia. The family will receive friends at the church 2:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

Mrs. Marshall, age 95, died Friday, January 8, 2021 at Maplewood Healthcare. She was born in Carroll County on November 4, 1925 to Freeman and Rosie Holmes DePriest. She is a member of Hopewell Baptist Church Lavinia, and retired from H.I.S. Siegel Trezevant.

She is survived by two sisters Bobbie (Muriel) Hicks and Catherine Wall, two grandchildren Angie Lowery and Brian (Lauren) Marshall, two great-grandchildren Tyler Lowery and Colton Lowery and one great-great granddaughter Rebekah Lowery.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 45 years Ray Marshall, a son Robert Marshall, two sisters Dean Smith and Frances Robinson and two brothers Holmes DePriest and Weldon DePriest.
