Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Novella Moyers Berry, two sisters June Nanney and Peggy Sydnor and three brothers Don Berry, Horace Berry and Tony Berry.

He is survived by his sons Douglas Berry and Marvin Edward Berry of McKenzie, two sisters Patty Price of Huntingdon and Cherry (Jay) Rittenberry of McKenzie, three grandchildren Chad (Sarah) Berry, Tina Vester and Quentin Berry, and eight great grandchildren.
