Nellie Moseley Hale

Dateline: McKenzie, TN

A Celebration of life for Nellie Ann Moseley Hale will be Sunday, December 3, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. until service time.

Mrs. Hale, 82 years old, died Friday, November 17, 2023 at Charter Senior Living of Paris.  She retired from Norandal, was a member of First United Methodist Church, and Beta Sigma Phi, Theta Delta Chapter service sorority in McKenzie. She enjoyed painting, gardening, reading, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family and friends. She was born in McKenzie on January 13, 1941, to J.T. and Romie Moseley.

She is survived by her daughter Gina (Deryl) Gore of Bartlett, her son Jason (Michelle) Hale of Cookeville, three grandchildren Matt Gore ( Chelsea), Anna Hale and Audrey Hale and two great grandchildren Harper Guye and Brooks Gore, sister Nancy (Wayne) Strickland of Paducah, KY and brother Tom (Karen) Moseley of Midlothian, VA

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Gene Hale and her parents.
