Funeral services for Ora Dean Sneed is Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Saturday, at the funeral home 12:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Mrs. Sneed, age 74, died Friday, January 3, 2020 in Cartersville, GA.  She was born May 9, 1945 in McKenzie, TN to Bozie Jones and Eddie Mae Horton.  She is a member of Johnson Temple CME Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher, President of Young Mother’s ministry, and Director of the CYYA Ministry. She also worshipped at Pentecostal Faith Church of God. She was a proud member of The Eastern Star service organization. She worked at Brown Shoe Company for twenty seven years, Atlantic Homes for nineteen years and McKenzie Healthcare Center.

She is survived by her daughters Alicia Sneed and Phoebe Sneed Presson, grandchildren Tia (Don Styve) Tache, Hope (Tony) Lane, Alicia (Brad) Rutherford, Dakota Jenkins and Marisa Presson, Great-grandchildren Orianna, Gianna, Grayson Lane, Liam, Donte, Bradley Jr. Rutherford, Jacob Ellis, Jr, Pierre Tache, siblings Annie Sue Buchanan, Ruth Jeannette Hartsfield, Burnett Horton, Jr., John Paul Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, life partner, best friend and Husband James Henry Sneed and siblings Lottie Brown and Robert Joe Jones.
