Funeral Services for Pamela Collins Bohanek are Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.

Ms. Bohanek, 77 years old, died Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Jackson Madison Co. General Hospital. She was born on January 20, 1947, in McKenzie to the late James and Ruth Hudson Collins.

 She is a graduate of McKenzie High School Class of 1965 and a member of the Lady Rebels 1963 State finalist team. After graduation she moved to Chicago, raised her family only later to return closer to home buying a lake house at Springville. In 2018, she decided it was time to move home.  Animals in tow and ready to once again become a dedicated Rebel Fan. When she was not able to attend the games she would listen to them on the radio, watch NHFS or stay up to date by posting on Facebook “What is the score”.

She is survived by her two sons Frank (Carrie) Bohanek of McKenzie and James Bohanek of Hillsboro, OR, a brother James (Sandra) Collins of McKenzie and three grandchildren Ethan Bohanek, Baylie Bohanek and Jakob Bohanek.
