Virgil Moore Presley

 A Funeral service for Virgil Moore Presley, age 81, is Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church, Lavinia. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 13, 2019 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church. Brothers Lynn King, Jerry Foust, Jerrell Dawson and Dr. Joe Wright are the officiants. Burial is at the church cemetery.

Mr. Presley died February 11, 2019 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was born in McLemoresville, TN on June 23, 1937 to Verney and Vester Lee Presley. Mr. Presley is a retired minister for the Southern Baptist Association. He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Lynn Presley, their infant daughter Julia Lee Presley and three brothers Junior Presley, Jessie Hubert Presley and Jerry Presley.

She is survived by his wife of nearly thirty three years Martha Jean Presley of Trezevant, and his sister Imogene Presley of Trezevant.
