William (Bill) Clayton Adams

Private Graveside services for William “Bill” Clayton Adams will be Tuesday April 21, 2020 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Mr. Adams, age 90, died at Christian Care Center, McKenzie on April 19, 2020. He is a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and he retired from the State of TN Highway Department where he was a heavy machine operator. He was born November 30, 1929 in Gleason, TN to Ernest and Flossie Holland Adams.

He is survived by his wife of 72 years Margie Ingram Adams of McKenzie, two daughters Cathy (Dan) Cochran of Smyrna, GA and Becky (Mike) Hagler of McKenzie and one son Mike (Debra) Adams of Powder Springs, GA, one brother Dr. Wray (Shirley) Adams of Gleason, seven grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
