Funeral Services for William “Bill” H. Stoner are Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 11:30a.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 15, 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at TN State Veterans Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads. The officiant is Brother Harrell Nation, pallbearers to serve are Micky Stafford, Hunter Stafford, Landon Johnson, Spiros Roditis, Stafford Roditis and Derek Galey
Mr. Stoner, 80 years old, died Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He is a member of McKenzie First United Methodist Church and was a member of the chancel choir, a Marine Veteran, a plant manager at Whirlpool, Springfield and after retirement he worked for Lowes and Sears.
He is survived by his wife Margaret Beasley Stoner of McKenzie, a son William David Stoner of O’Fallon, IL, daughter Nanette Tate of Seattle, WA, sister Diane Stafford and brother Paul Stoner both of McKenzie, six grandchildren Natalie Stoner, Ethan Tate, MicKenzie (Derek) Galey, Graham (Sarah) Tate, Simon (Danielle) Tate and Sydney Beasley and two great grandchildren Walker Wray Galey and Salem Kay Tate.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sons Mitch Beasley and Micah Beasley, sister Mary Dixon and brother Lonnie Stoner, Jr.
